Why People Choose Us…
Specialized Pelvic Health Expertise
Our therapists specialize in pelvic health while also bringing a strong understanding of the hips, spine, core, movement, and the whole body.
We Look Beyond the Symptoms
Pain, leaking, pressure, or discomfort isn’t always coming from where you feel it. We look at the bigger picture to understand what may be contributing to your symptoms.
Get Back to the Life You Love
Our goal isn’t simply to make you feel better temporarily. We want to help you get back to the things that matter to you whether that’s running, lifting, hiking, surfing, intimacy, playing with your kids, or simply feeling confident in your body.
Tried Everything? You're Not a Lost Cause.
If you've been told your tests are normal, tried traditional physical therapy, or seen multiple providers without getting the answers you need, you're not alone. We specialize in complex pelvic health and persistent pain cases.
One-on-One, Personalized Care
You work directly with your physical therapist, not through a revolving door of providers or assistants. Your treatment is tailored to your symptoms, your body, and your goals.
Your body works as a whole and your treatment should too. We look beyond the symptoms to understand how movement, strength, mobility, and the way your body works together may be contributing to the problem.

Testimonials
Complex/Chronic Pain
“Words cannot express the relief I felt when I discovered Dynamic Flow Physical Therapy. After working for sometime with a different physical therapist, I gave up out of frustration of not making progress or healing. I soon after discovered Dynamic Flow. We use multiple modalities, many of which were new to me and worked extremely well on my nerve pain and the quality of life it was stealing from me. She identified early on that much of my problem stemmed from earlier surgeries where I never addressed myofascial scarring, and the implications that can come from not working with someone like her soon after surgery.
We made so much progress even after two visits that I instantly made sure to make regular appointments and be consistent for the biggest impact. “

Tailbone Pain
“I feel so blessed to have found this place! Last year I dislocated my tailbone in a hard fall. It was a few months after giving birth so everything was very malleable and the way I fell just completely made my tailbone point sideways. I couldn't sit for long without feeling numb or cold or pain down there. I couldn't walk or exercise or do anything without feeling it. I had actually given up on getting it fixed after going to an urgent care and being told I was "just born like that" and that there was nothing wrong, and they were "not going to refer me anywhere". It's really upsetting basically being told you're just crazy or stupid when you go to get something fixed medically. I really was afraid I would have to live with that problem forever and I was especially afraid of getting pregnant and having serious problems if I didn't fix my tailbone.”

Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain
“I began seeing Laura because I had months of abdominal pain after beginning birth control and was started on treatments for endometriosis. I felt cared for a lot more holistically and definitely grew to have a lot more awareness of my body and what makes it feel good. I experienced results very quickly and felt much less tightness, even at my second appointment. I was able to go on vacation and participate in a lot of activities that would have been nearly impossible for me to do without pain, even three weeks before. Now I am able to walk around my campus, stand to fold laundry for long periods of time, hike, run, ride my horse, and do any activity I would like to do pain-free. You will know a lot more about your body and what it needs after starting treatment at Dynamic Flow.”

We are committed to offering you individualized care, focused on you and your goals. We treat the “whole” body not one part and believe this is hugely important to obtain lasting results. Our goal is to make long-lasting, life-time changes, and to teach you to manage or maintain a healthy and active lifestyle per your goals. We want to empower you to feel confident getting back to whatever it is you want to with a customized plan that works for you.
We typically find the fastest and best outcomes with weekly appointments for 6-12 weeks. This may be longer for chronic conditions. At your first visit, your therapist will educate you on the steps needed to reach your goals per findings during the examination. We want you to feel confident prior to leaving your first visit in the process we lay out for you, and have realistic expectations on achieving your goals. Everyone's body responds differently to treatments- complexity, chronicity and other factors all need to be considered, and sometimes we have to build a team of practitioners to achieve the best outcomes.

You are welcome to use your insurance, but our services will fall under out-of-network physical therapy, which means we do not bill insurance directly. However, you can absolutely use your insurance benefits depending on your plan.
Most of our patients have insurance and still choose to work with us because they value the level of care we provide.
Using your insurance (Out-of-Network / OON benefits)
If you’d like to use your insurance, we will provide you with a superbill after your visits. A superbill includes everything your insurance needs—diagnosis codes, treatment codes, and provider information—so you can submit it for reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits.
Many insurance plans reimburse 30–70% after your deductible is met, depending on your plan. While we cannot guarantee reimbursement, we can help guide you on the right questions to ask your insurance provider so you understand your coverage.
Please also check whether your plan requires pre-authorization for physical therapy.
Why we choose an out-of-network model?
We are committed to providing high-quality, one-on-one care without the rushed environment common in insurance-based clinics.
In-network clinics often have lower insurance reimbursement, which forces therapists to see multiple patients at once, use aides, shorten sessions, or limit treatment to just the “body part” your insurance approves.
At Dynamic Flow PT, we believe you deserve:
Full one-on-one attention
Longer, more comprehensive sessions
Whole-body treatment that addresses root causes, not just symptoms
Faster progress and more lasting results
This model allows us to give you the best outcomes without limitations set by insurance rules.
Payment Options
We accept the following:
Credit or debit cards
Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Due to Medicare rules and regulations, we are unable to provide physical therapy services to Medicare beneficiaries, even on a cash-pay basis.
However, we can work together under a wellness program, which includes:

• Strengthening

Softwave therapy
And any services that Medicare does not cover
If you are specifically seeking Medicare-covered physical therapy, we are happy to help you by providing a referral to a trusted in-network clinic.
Your health is our priority, and we want to make sure you get the care that best fits your needs.

In the state of California for physical therapy we have limited “direct access” which means we are able to treat individuals for up to 45 days or 12 visits which ever comes first without a doctor’s prescription. After that time we will need a prescription to continue treatments. If you do not have a prescription, not a problem. We will send your evaluation (first visit note) to your preferred physician for a signature. We want your treatment team to be as collaborative as possible, and also find this helps with communication.

If you are pregnant and currently experiencing pregnancy pains such as hip, pelvic, and/or low back pain, it is best to start treatment now to address your discomfort, get your body prepared for delivery and speed up your postpartum recovery. We can also set up monthly check ins to help manage any symptoms that come up. If you are feeling fine, we can also start pelvic floor therapy during your third trimester anywhere from 32-36 weeks. During these sessions, your therapist will provide some hands on bodywork, work on your pelvic alignment, review labor and birth positions, teach you how to “push” and provide you with education about the birthing process.
-
If you are having any pain or concerns after childbirth, we can start as early as 2 weeks postpartum and take you through some gentle movement and bodywork. Otherwise, we can wait until after your postpartum OB appointment (4-6 weeks postpartum). We like to start early postpartum to build good habits during the tissue healing phase to decrease risk of issues happening as you return to full activities.

Even though you didn’t give birth vaginally, your pelvic floor, core and whole body is affected from carrying around the weight of your baby for 9 months. Plus you had a major abdominal surgery. Following your c-section, we can assess how your pelvic floor has been affected externally or internally, address your c-section scar tissue, and work on core rehabilitation.

What to Expect During a Pelvic Floor Assessment
A pelvic floor physical therapy assessment is very different from a traditional pelvic exam. We do not use stirrups or a speculum.
Instead, your therapist gently evaluates the pelvic floor muscles using one or two gloved fingers placed inside the vagina or rectum. This allows us to assess how your muscles:
Contract
Relax
Coordinate with your breathing and movement
Respond in different positions
We may perform the assessment in a variety of positions (such as lying down, side-lying, or standing) to get the most accurate understanding of how your pelvic floor is functioning.
Your comfort is always our highest priority, and you are in control of the process at every step.
