What is Low Pressure Fitness and Hypopressives?

LPF is a training system aimed at postural and breathing reeducation. It utilizes a series of poses that use the concept of low pressure generation in the abdomen to decrease stress to the pelvic floor and improve overall function. It utilizes breathing and hypopressive maneuvers together with myofascial and neurodynamic techniques to decrease pressure and body tension. It uses negative pressure in the abdominal cavity to traction the pelvic organs upwards, enabling the pelvic floor and deep core muscles to work in a different fashion than standard strengthening.
